About Attorney Nicole T. Schroeder
Nicole T. Schroeder joined Taxman, Pollack, Murray, & Bekkerman as an associate attorney in September of 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Plaintiff’s attorney handling all types of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home, and wrongful death cases. Nicole has always been passionate about pursuing justice for people who are unable to advocate for themselves. She is thrilled to be part of such an amazing firm that has given her the opportunity to advocate on behalf of individuals who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own.
Nicole graduated from Beloit College, magna cum laude, in 2010. In 2014, Nicole received her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law. During law school and following admission into the Illinois Bar, Nicole served as a senior law clerk for a circuit court judge in Indiana. This clerking position influenced her decision to become a personal injury attorney. She also worked for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office in Chicago in the Homicide Division as a licensed 711 law clerk. Here she gained experience working with people from different backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses and belief systems.
Nicole received both her undergraduate and law degrees as a mother. She enjoys spending her free time with her son and cheering him on during his weekend sporting events.
